A Small Group Makes Big Change
This is a very powerful quote, as well as a concept that in fact has a lot of truth to it. If you look back at history, often times it is a very small group of individuals that cause big change in the world. This is often times because the majority tend to follow the status-quo. Whether it is during slavery in America, or when religious dogma enforced that the world is flat, the forces of change were a small group of people either protesting for their civil rights or scientists proving that the world is in fact round. In fact, sometimes change is brought out almost soley due to a single person, as in the case of the mathematician and scientist Isaac Newton whose mathematical insights led the way for a way to critically model and analyize the physical world around us with great accuracy.
But aside from just history, we should use this mindset in every moment of our lives. Whether we feel we are treated unjustly or whether we want to start a new business venture. We must realize that we are never too small or never too few to bring about any change we want to bring about. All that it requires is perseverence, willingness, and above all vision for the future we want to make a reality!
